Easter is a special time during our Church calendar and we as a Church community celebrate this in a number of ways.
One event that takes place on Easter Sunday itself is the decoration of a cross. Using the trunk of the previous years
Christmas tree, the wood is made into this cross where, during each week of lent, the tree is adhourned with different symbols, such as a robe and crown of thorns.
These are removed on Easter Sunday and replaced with colourful flowers to produce a stunning display.
